Entrance and Conservation Fees to the Kruger National Park
Entrance and Conservation Fees to the Kruger National Park
In this short blog, we will cover all you need to know about the daily conservation fees for the Kruger National Park. It is the only other fee not included in our Kitted Africa packages. These fees contribute directly to the park’s conservation efforts, ensuring the protection of its diverse wildlife and pristine landscapes.

Wild Card: For longer stays and multiple trips per year
The Wild Card is an optional membership available for purchase at any of the Kruger’s gates or rest camps. The purpose of the Wild Card is to make the daily conservation fees cheaper for longer stays or multiple trips. It is valid for one year. For example, should you travel as a couple, the daily conservation fees on a one-week visit will be slightly cheaper when purchasing a Wild Card. The longer you stay, the better value for money a Wild Card becomes. Paying the daily fees on a two-week visit will be much more expensive than buying the once-off Wild Card. Do the math and see which option will be the most affordable.
